1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using AutoTrader (“the Platform”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. What AutoTrader Does
AutoTrader is a software platform for analyzing markets, backtesting trading strategies on historical data, paper trading, and optionally automating order signals across crypto, stocks, ETFs, and indices. AutoTrader is a technology tool — it is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, exchange, or financial institution, and it does not custody your funds or assets.
3. Not Financial Advice
Nothing on the Platform constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security or asset. All strategies, signals, backtests, and metrics are provided for informational and educational purposes only. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions.
4. Risk Disclosure
Trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. Past, simulated, backtested, or paper-trading performance does not guarantee future results. You may lose some or all of your capital. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
5. User Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
6. Brokerage Connections & Automation
- Any live order routing occurs through third-party brokers you connect and authorize.
- You are responsible for the configuration, risk limits, and behavior of any automated strategy you enable.
- AutoTrader is not liable for losses arising from market conditions, data delays or errors, broker outages, or strategy logic.
- We strongly recommend validating any strategy in backtest and paper-trading modes before risking live capital.
7. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Platform to engage in market manipulation, insider trading, or any unlawful activity, nor to access markets or assets you are prohibited from trading in your jurisdiction. See our Prohibited Use policy.
8. Subscriptions & Fees
Paid plans may be billed monthly or yearly and are non-refundable after the billing period begins. We may change pricing with notice.
9. Limitation of Liability
AutoTrader provides the Platform “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, AutoTrader is not liable for any trading losses or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees you paid to AutoTrader in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration or small claims court.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
